This crustacean feeds on small mollusks and other species. The fishing of these crustaceans represents the main source of income for many artisanal and industrial fishing communities. This species can be found in depths of up to 90 meters; they are usually found in areas with some type of cover such as coral reefs, sponges, bridge piles and among the roots of mangroves.
Gastropod mollusk that belongs to one of the oldest animal phyla on the planet. Its habitat is sandy bottoms of marine environments associated with coral reefs and sea grass areas. They can be found at maximum depths of 75 meters. They are herbivorous organisms that occasionally feed on the detritus between the grains of sand.
